The virtual duet of Elvis Presley and Celine Dion begins with Elvis and Celine coming out of shadow and beginning to sing the song. The image of Elvis Presley was created with hologram and advanced light technology. The virtual Elvis also shakes hand with Celine at the end of the duet performance. 25th April, the day of performance is also Elvis’s mother Gladys Presley’s birthday.

The Elvis Presley and Celine Dion duet was arranged for charity to fight poverty in American and Africa. No American Idol contestant was eliminated on this Idol Gives Back episode.
